The APNS Commune of Paris (BB-63) was an Iowa-class battleship in the American People's Navy in the 1940s. Sometime during its service, the Commune of Paris suffered a catastrophic fuel fire, an event that would lead to the decommissioning and scrapping of the entire Iowa-class in 1948.[1]
