BMS Baden-Württemburg (R 06) is an Invincible-class aircraft carrier of the Federal German Navy (Bundesmarine).

Laid down in 1973 for the Royal Navy as HMS Temeraire, she and her sister ship HMS Invincible were sold to Germany when the Royal Navy decided to build more of the larger King George VI-class instead. (A third Invincible-class, HMS Bellerophon, was sold to West Japan.) At her commissioning, Temeraire was renamed BMS Baden-Württemburg.

In 1982, the Baden-Württemburg participated in exercises with the Royal Navy. During the exercises, the British destroyer Liverpool's RDF computer suffered a malfunction allowing the Baden-Württemburg to 'wipe out' the small British Force and the simulated convoy they had defended.[1]

Both ships are to be replaced by a pair of German-designed aircraft carriers by 2020.
