The Battle-class destroyers were a class of destroyer in service to various navies of the British Commonwealth during and after World War II. They are known primarily for their use in the Pacific theatre of the second world war. After World War II, the Battle-class would be in service in various other nations navies including Germany's Bundesmarine.
