APNS Cape Hatteras (DDG-57)

Guided missile destroyer APNS Cape Hatteras (DDG-57) steams in the Southern California operating area.

The Crown Point-class Guided Missile Destroyer is a class of warship in service in the American People's Navy from 1983 onwards. The Crown Point-class destroyers are the first ships to be equipped with the Typhon II combat system and the AN/SPY-1 multifuction AESA radar. The first five ships were equipped with the Mk.26 twin-arm missile launchers while the rest were equipped with the Mark 41 Vertical Launching System.

The Crown Point-class is the OTL Ticonderoga-class destroyers.
