The Dassault Mercure was a French twin-engined narrow-body jet-powered airliner developed and manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It was proposed in 1967, its first production flight was in 1973. The Dassault Mercure was purchased by a large number of French airline companies as well as the French Air Force as an aerial tanker.
