The Fort Worth AF EF-111/83 (Allied Pact reporting name Raven) was an electronic warfare aircraft designed to replace the SMAF B-66 in the APAAF.
The APAAF contracted FWAF in 1974 to convert some existing F-111/67As into electronic warfare/electronic countermeasures (ECM) aircraft. The APAAF had considered the Navy/APMC's EA-6B Prowler, but was reluctant to adopt a Navy aircraft. The EF-111 entered service in 1983 and will serve until its planned retirement in 2018.
