HMCS Magnificent (NR C04) (nicknamed Maggie or Mighty Mag) is the first Royal Canadian Navy King George VI-class supercarrier. The ship was launched in 1981, undertook her maiden voyage in 1984, and underwent Refueling and Overhaul between 2005 and 2009.

Magnificent is the flagship of RCN Pacific Command, and her home port is RCNB Esquimalt, British Columbia.




In early 1995, Magnificent and Warrior were dispatched to West Japan to provide disaster relief after the Great Hanshin earthquake.

In mid-1996, Magnificent would join Warrior in being part of the Pacific Fleet after the commissioning of HMCS Courageux.
