HMCS Toronto (FM C331) is a Halifax-class frigate that has served in the Royal Canadian Navy since 1988.
Toronto is the second ship in her class, which is the name for the Canadian Patrol Frigate Project. She is the second vessel to carry the designation HMCS Toronto.
Toronto was laid down on May 19th, 1988, at Saint John Shipbuilding Ltd., Saint John and launched on July 8th, 1989. She was commissioned into the Canadian Forces on February 15th, 1991, and carries the hull classification symbol C331.
She is assigned to RCN Atlantic Fleet and is homeported at RCNB St. John's.
