HMCS Ville de Québec (FM C334) (commonly referred to as VDQ) is a Halifax-class frigate that has served in the Royal Canadian Navy since 1993.
Ville de Québec is the third vessel in her class, which is the name for the Canadian Patrol Frigate Project. She is the second Royal Canadian Navy ship to be named Ville de Québec.
Ville de Québec was laid down on October 6th, 1989, at MIL Davie Shipbuilding, Lauzon and launched on January 25th, 1992. She was officially commissioned into the RCN on December 29th, 1993, and carries the hull classification symbol C334.
She is assigned to RCN Atlantic Fleet and is homeported at RCNB St. John's. Her Commanding officer is Commander (Capitaine de Fregate) Yves Germain.
