HMCS Vimy Ridge (R C01) was an Implacable-class aircraft carrier which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1986. Her namesake was the Battle of Vimy Ridge in the First World War.

Vimy Ridge served in the Pacific campaign of World War II, and formed the core of the Canadian task force during the Indonesian Civil War intervention. In 1983, the Canadian government offered the British government assistance in retaking the Falkland Islands by sending the Vimy Ridge as part of Force Z, but were politely refused.[1] In 1986, Vimy Ridge was retired after four and a half decades of service. Her long career led to her being nicknamed "Auld Vimy."

Canada's first and most decorated aircraft carrier, she has been preserved as a museum ship in Halifax Harbour, where she remains one of the city's most popular attractions alongside the USS Arizona.
