HMS Euryalus (42) was a Dido-class anti-aircraft cruiser of the Royal Navy. She was built at Chatham Dockyard UK, with the keel being laid down on October 21st 1937. She was launched on June 6th 1939, and commissioned on June 30th 1941.

In the Pacific Theatre, Euryalus was assigned to Battle Group Able Two-One as where she participated in the Battle of the Java Sea.[1]
Postwar, the Euryalus would be succeeded by a Leander-class frigate and later the name-ship of the Euyalus-class frigates.
