The Hunter-class destroyer is a class of destroyer developed for the Royal Australian Navy in the 1960s to replace the aging River-class destroyer escorts and Daring-class destroyers. The Hunter was launched in 1973 and commissioned in 1976. Ten of these vessels were built, all named after rivers in Australia.
- This is the AAOverse version of the Australian light destroyer that was planned in the 1960s and 1970s before the Australian government decided to purchase the Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided missile frigates from the United States.
