The IAI Arava (Hebrew: עֲרָבָה, "Willow," "Steppe," "Desert") is a light STOL utility transport aircraft built in Israel by Israeli Aerospace Industries in the late 1960s. The Arava was IAI's first major aircraft design to enter production.
