Kantō Province is a province of East Japan, located in the southeast of the country. Consisting of the former prefectures of Gunma, Ibaraki and Tochigi, it has a population of 6,285,461 and an area of 18,867 km². The provincial capital and largest city of Kantō is Utsunomiya.
