Long Beach AF A-4/89SU

The Long Beach AF A-4/89SU (Allied Pact reporting name Super Skyhawk) is a major upgrade project of the SMAF A-4/56 undertaken by Long Beach Aircraft Factory in the 1980s. It is used by several members of the Wake Island Association, serving in the fighter-bomber role from 1989 until retirement from front line service in 2005. It is also used as an advanced jet trainer aircraft.
