The Lucknow Rajputs (Queen's, Prince's, and Duke's) is a line infantry regiment of the British Army, headquartered in Lucknow, India, which recruits primarily from the Rajput clans. The Lucknow Rajputs were formed in 1922 as the 7th Rajput Regiment through the amalgamation of six earlier regiments: 2nd Queen Victoria's Own Rajput Light Infantry, 4th Prince Albert Victor's Rajputs, 7th (Duke of Connaught's Own) Rajputs, 8th Rajputs, 11th Rajputs, and 16th Rajputs (The Lucknow Regiment).
