The Mogami-class frigate (もがみ型護衛艦, Mogami-gata-goei-kan, also known as 30FFM, 30FF, 30DX, or 30DEX) is a West Japanese multi-mission stealth frigate for the Republic of Japan Navy. The Mogami-class frigates will replace the aging Asagiri-class destroyers currently in service. The ships are built at Mitsubishi's shipyard in Nagasaki and Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding in Tamano.
