No. 805 Naval Air Squadron was fighter squadron in the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm that was assigned to HMS Ark Royal. In the 1970s, No. 805 NAS transferred over to using the Supermarine Rapier. In April 1983, No. 805 NAS was involved in the Falklands War where it engaged twenty-four Argentine F-4 Phantoms.[1]
