The People's Republic of Indonesia (PRI; Indonesian: Republik Rakyat Indonesia) was a mostly unrecognized communist revolutionary state which occupied parts of Indonesia from 1965-present, during the Indonesian Civil War. The PRI was established by the communist faction of the civil war, and only officially recognized by one country, the People's Republic of China. Though America and other Wake Island Association countries initially supported the PRI, this support was rapidly withdrawn when the Allied Pact intervened in the war, and none of these countries ever established official relations with the PRI.
Though the PRI claimed to be a legitimate nation, it exerted little control on areas outside of military positions or core cities such as IKN INDONESIA. The PRI's government was practically non-existent, with Premier Wisnu Ramadhani making most central decisions and local military and guerilla leaders operating mostly independently.
