The Pohang-class corvettes Bucheon (PCC-773) and Sokcho (PCC-778) at sea on December 3rd, 2007.

The Pohang-class corvette (Korean: 포항급 초계함, Hanja: 浦項級哨戒艦) is a class of general purpose vessels operated by the Korean Navy that serve in a coastal defense role. A total of thirty Pohang-class corvettes were built, all constructed in Korea. Twentysix corvettes remain in service. Like the large Ulsan-class frigates, they will be replaced by the larger Chongjin-class frigates.
