The Prestonian-class anti-submarine escort frigates were a class of 33 frigates that served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1953-1967, the Royal Norwegian Navy from 1956-1977, the Israeli Sea Corps from 1953 to 1968.

They were converted from mothballed River-class frigates that had been placed in reserve following the end of World War II. The first vessel to be reactivated and undergo refit was HMCS Prestonian which was recommissioned on August 28th 1953. They would be replaced by the Eastview-class frigates
