The RJS Myōkō (DD-175) (みょうこう) is a Kongō-class air defense destroyer of the Republic of Japan Navy (RJN). RJS Myōkō was named after Mount Myōkō, which is located in the People's Republic of Japan. It is currently under the command of Captain Toshinori Matsuaji.
She was laid down by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki, Nagasaki on April 8th 1993, launched on October 5th 1994; and commissioned on March 14th 1996.

In spring 2012, Myōkō, along with the destroyer Makinami, was sent to RCNB Esquimalt in Canada, where they worked with the Royal Canadian Navy until returning home to Maizuru, Kyoto.
