Republic of Iran Navy

The Republic of Iran Navy is the naval warfare branch of the Iranian military and the successor to the Imperial Iranian Navy (IIN).

Equipment

The Republic of Iran Navy has a relatively modern navy with most of its equipment dating to the 1980s and 1990s. Iran has purchased ships from the British Empire, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Soviet Union, and UAPR.
