The Royal Canadian Corps of Marines (RCCM), often referred to simply as the Canadian Marines, is the naval infantry branch of the Canadian military. The Canadian Marines utilize the speed and range of the Royal Canadian Navy to project power around the world. They are trained for special operations, with focus on amphibious, mountain and arctic warfare. The RCCM is the third largest marine force in the world, after the Royal Marines and American People's Marine Corps.
