The Shenyang J-13 (Chinese: 歼-13; traditional: 殲-13) is a light-weight, single engine fighter aircraft in service in the People's Liberation Army Air Force from 1992 onwards.
It is powered by a single Woshan WS-9 afterburning turbofan (which is derived from stolen copies of the American F100-P100 engine) which generates 15,300 lbg (68 kN) dry and 27,000 lbf (120 kN) on afterburners.
