The Short Paladin is a single-engine two-seat air superiority fighter developed by the British aircraft manufacturer Short Brothers. It was armed with four ADEN 30mm cannons as well as Red Flash and Red Top air-to-air missiles. Early versions of the Paladin were powered by the Rolls Royce Avon, but later versions were powered by the Rolls Royce Spey.
