Somaliland Scouts Regiment

The Somaliland Scouts Regiment is a cavalry regiment of the British Army. The regiment recruits from the Imperial Dominion of Somaliland and its HQ is Hargeisa. The Somaliland Scouts Regiment is equipped with CVR(T)-family vehicles, including the FV107 Scimitar armoured reconnaissance vehicle, the FV106 Samson armoured recovery vehicle, the FV105 Sultan command vehicle, the FV104 Samaritan ambulance, and the FV103 Spartan APC. It serves in a formation reconnaissance role.
