Space Research Corporation is a defense contractor founded by Dr. Gerald Bull to commericialize long range artillery as well as the development and manufacturing of surface to space artillery for launching satellites into orbit. SRC is considered to be one of the world's most innovate artillery designers, and their work has largely been focused on improving designs already in existence and working on new projects as they came about. The German PzH2000, West Japanese Type 99 howitzers, and Canadian Mark 45 5"/62-caliber naval guns use SRC-designed gun systems.
