The Sukhoi Su-34 (Russian: Сухой Су-34) is a Soviet twin-seat multirole tactical aircraft. It is intended to replace the swing wing Sukhoi Su-24. Based on the Su-27, it is intended for high-precision strikes, including strikes with nuclear weapons, on land and sea targets at any time of day. It is also affectionately referred to as the "Hellduck".
