The Tempest-class guided missile cruisers were a class of nuclear powered warships in the American People's Navy from the late 1980s onwards. They are complemented by the Kearsarge-class cruisers and Crown Point-class destroyers.
- The Tempest-class is based on the USN's 1970s strike cruiser concept, except for the fact of the Tempest-class entering service as a contemporary of TTL's equivalent to the Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
