The Type 63 (industrial designation YW531) is an armoured personnel carrier of the People's Republic of China that entered service in the late 1960s. It was the first armoured vehicle designed in the PRC without American assistance. The design is simple and is comparable to other APCs of its time such as the Canadian Bobcat and American M-113/60 APC.
