The Upholder-class, also known as the Type 2700 (due to their displacement of 2,700 tonnes) and Korrigan-class (in Ireland), are diesel-electric fleet submarines designed in the British Empire in the late 1970s to supplement the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine force. Six Upholder-class submarines also serve in the Irish Navy.
