The Yeonggwang Nuclear Generating Station (Korean: 영광원자력발전소, 靈光原子力發電所, Yeonggwang Wonjalyeog Baljeonso) is a large nuclear power station in Yeonggwang County in the Jeolla province of Korea. The facility runs at a nameplate capacity of 6,000 MW. All the units at Yeonggwang are of the pressurized water reactor (PWR) reactor type. Units 1 and 2 are 3-loop American-designed plants. The other four units are Korean OPR-1000 reactors.
